2010 Ledbetter Plow Day - Texas Draft Horse & Mule Association

The draft horses, as well as the tractors, got a workout this plow day and the heat was something everyone had to contend with. There was hay to mow, corn to cultivate, oats to bind then thresh, ground to plow and disc, and more fun if this was not enough! Several tractor plows and discs were on hand and used by the club members who wanted to get a feel for how fields were worked in a by gone era. At the end of the day there was almost twelve acres that had been plowed and disced.
